Eid al-Adha is a special time when virtues such as solidarity and sharing are reinforced, and feelings of unity and togetherness are strengthened.

Unfortunately, we greet this special day with sorrow and melancholy due to the inhumane treatment inflicted upon thousands of people of all ages and genders in various parts of the world. Under the shadow of the crimes against humanity committed in Gaza and amidst the grief of helpless people suffering oppression in different regions of the world, I hope that Eid al-Adha will be a milestone for an atmosphere of peace and tranquility that will embrace all humanity.

I extend my best wishes to the Islamic world on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, hoping that the spirit of tolerance, justice, and solidarity, which we feel more deeply during these festive days, will resonate in our every moment and contribute to the protection and strengthening of the fundamental rights and freedoms at the heart of constitutional justice.
