Emblem

The emblem of the Conference of Constitutional Jurisdictions of the Islamic World (CCJ-I) symbolises the objectives such as ensuring the cooperation and exchange of experience and knowledge between Constitutional Courts/Councils, Supreme Courts and Equivalent Institutions exercising constitutional jurisdiction (hereinafter referred to as "equivalent institutions") in the Islamic world, and the implementation of principles of the rule of law, democracy and respect for human rights as enshrined in national constitutions, as well as serving to promote fundamental values.
The circle in the emblem represents the world embraced by the cooperation and solidarity among the respective constitutional jurisdictions and equivalent institutions, and the crescent represents the gathering of these constitutional jurisdictions, which operate in the Islamic countries, under the same roof pursuing a common purpose. The scales in the centre of the emblem symbolise the balanced administration of justice.
The blue colour of the emblem, which inspires positive concepts such as confidence and innovation, symbolises the CCJ-I’s assurance that it will contribute to the protection of the rule of law, democracy and human rights around the world.
